Maintenance Instructions
Congratulations on your new Rosenthal product. We hope you enjoy our glass products. To keep them looking great even after years of use, please take note of the following points.
- When hand washing, never put two or more glasses or glass items in the sink.
- After cleaning, the glass items should be placed in the dish rack to drain a bit because if they are completely wet, the kitchen towel could be pulled in and risk causing breakage.
- The glass then needs to be immediately polished dry so that water stains don't remain.
- Glass items should be carefully placed in the dishwasher at a slight angle to allow the water to drain off without leaving residues. You need to ensure that the glass items do not touch each other.
- High-quality glass should be washed in the dishwasher on the delicate programme at a low temperature and with mild detergents. Avoid overdosing the detergent.
- After each washing process, the dishwasher needs to be immediately opened so the heat would not damage the glass surface.
If you follow these basic rules, you will be able to enjoy the cleanliness and shine of your Rosenthal glass items without any limitations.
Handmade glass will always differ from industrially produced products. One product can never be the same as another. This includes, for example: small bubbles or slight differences in weight. Small imperfections are a typical characteristic of an individually handcrafted product.
